Bug Description

Binary package hint: pulseaudio

Hi, I use Ubuntu 10.04 x64 with Alsa and it worked good but due to veromix and due to its other advantages I tried to use Pulseaudio as a sound manager in my ubuntu, but, It doesn't recognize more sound sources than 1, e.g. I listen music from Amarok but I can't hear it from e.g. flash videos from Opera, Firefox etc., I mean when Amarok si running, the other sounds are muted (and not appearing in pavucontrol).

When I start browser and listen for example music via it and start Amarok, the Amarok doesn't play.

Please help me with that

Thanks in advance

Could you please get a log of what PulseAudio is doing while you use various audio applications? To do this, follow the instructions found here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PulseAudio/Log.

Hi, in 10.10 it looks solved, the other outputs presents in pavucontrol, but are muted by default and primary output device is HDMI which I do not use, so disabling HDMI and unmuting other sound aplications in pavucontrol makes it work. Thank you for assistance
