Bug Description
Binary package hint: pulseaudio
Hi!
It's a problem since Ubuntu 9.10.
If the audio output set to 5.1, you can hear a constant buzzing, beeping
in the background. (The volume of this buzzing is changing when setting
the output volume. It have a circular pattern: first the buzzing is low, then
louder when you increase the output volume, then you give more output
volume and the buzzing is low again, and so on...)
(If you change the output to 2.0, then no buzzing, but it's useless because
of the subwoofer and 2.0 isn't 5.1)
Under Ubuntu 9.04 work almost fine and under other operating systems
(like Win7) it's work also fine, so there is no problem with the hardware.
Thanks you for your help (and sorry if my english is not so good).
Bye
