Are you running ubuntu? This doesn't sound like a problem with launchpad. Launchpad is this website. If I tried to post a comment here and it didn't show up that would be a launchpad bug. If its a problem with your computer, than it's a bug in what ever Operating System you are running (probably Ubuntu in this case).
Hopefully that helps
Erik

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately we can't fix it without more information. Would you please add the information requested from the "Reporting Sound Bugs" section of https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingSoundProblems as separate attachments? If you are running Jaunty or Karmic this can be done automatically if you run "apport-collect -p alsa-base 526201" (without the quotes) from the terminal.
If you are running Karmic, please read through the following wiki page as it resolves a lot of common audio problems.
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingSoundProblems/KarmicCaveats
Thanks in advance.

This looks entirely alsa related, as this page:

http://www.analog.com/en/audiovideo-products/audio-codecs/ad1884/products/product.html

"Drivers for W2K, W2K3, WINXP, Vista, and Linux (from ALSA); WHQL pre-qualified"

Suggest it works with Alsa, so is this a pulse audio problem?

http://forums.opensuse.org/english/get-technical-help-here/multimedia/422771-sound-problems-82801i-sound-card.html#post2046297

Are you able to check with ALSAmixer that the sound isn't muted?
