OK, after rebooting with 0.9.22~0.9.21+stable-queue-32-g8478-0ubuntu1, the situation is this:
A first call is always lagged, consecutive calls within ca 10 seconds from finishing the previous is good. So if I wait a bit before taking the next call, it will always be lagged.
