Bug Description
Binary package hint: pulseaudio
Pulseaudio is misbehaving. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Currently mostly it doesn't work that much. I've been trying workaround by starting pulseaudio manually (pulseaudio --start, killing it (pulseaudio --kill). Use the console (-C) and verbose mode, but this still remains a big annoyning mystery.
I noticed that there're several bugs related to pulseaudio, from which some of are marked as fixed, but it seems there're more than one real bug.
