2009-03-16 14:45:09 Fernando Miguel description Here are the logs from yesterday daily image that I run to get a base line comparation. The oggs I played worked OK with totem, but aplay just outputed noise. Hope it helps finding out why my current system running jaunty 64 bits, upgraded form ibex before alpha1 as no sound for the last few weeks. I removed and purge all (most ??) ALSA and PA packages and reinstalled. This system has had installed Dan Chen PPA, and TheMuso (up until PA 9.15~test2, never did install ~test3), and currently has archive. After boot ALSA and PA wont output any sound (by any app or test), but OSS does work (until suspend or hibernate, after resume it fails) autospawn is on, user is not in audio group. Mic works though! If I logout (end the session) I get a very load sound until I login.
