Bug Description

Binary package hint: pulseaudio

Pulseaudio crashes when I try to play something in Audacious. I have HDA Nvidia soundcard. This is what Pulseaudio says before crashing:

E: alsa-util.c: snd_pcm_avail_update() returned value that is exceptionally large: 16140901064495856008 bytes (384307168193 ms) Most likely this is a Linux bug. Please report this issue to the ALSA developers.
Soft CPU time limit exhausted, terminating.
Hard CPU time limit exhausted, terminating forcibly.

And this is what 'aplay -l' tells about my system:

It seems random crashes of pulseaudio.
But seems to be happening when mediaplayer is set on "pause"
Both on smplayer and rhythmbox
Have set audio-module to pulse on smplayers settings...

gstreamer-properties audio is set to "auto-detect"
rhythmbox set on pause.

And pulse process dies...
restarting via ->pulseaudio --start

So, pulseaudio was removed from per-user settings, in sessions "startup applications" ?
