In Intrepid I can only get sound from either Firefox or from Totem/Exaile. If I start Totem and/or Exaile for some film or music (they work side by side with each other) the sound from thoose to comes out from my speakers, and then I can start Firefox, but then I wont get some audio from it.
And if I start Firefox first the sound from anything else wont works.
The soundcard is a 82801H from lspci.
The kernel is 2.6.26-5-generic (X crashed with 2.6.27, but that is another bug). |

Make sure your System> Preferences> Sound> * are set to Autodetect except for Sound capture, which should be set to ALSA - Advanced Linux Sound Architecture.
Next, make sure you're using the most current versions of libasound2-plugins and flashplugin-nonfree. |
