When switching to a console all music/sound pause

Bug Description
When playing music through either rhythmbox or youtube... any application and switching from X to a virtual console the music stops. In previous versions of Ubuntu music would still play even when on a different console.
This might be a Pulseaudio bug.
This is with Hardy 8.04.
