Bug Description
Binary package hint: pulseaudio
After the recent switch to pulse audio in hardy heron beta, my audio stutters when doing things that require moderate cpu usage. In particular, when running desktop effects like the minimize button (window zooms out, fades out, and moves to taskbar), the audio stutters. I minimize quite frequently, so this is a problem. I checked the system monitor and cpu usage jumps above 50 percent when this stutter happens. I'm running all up-to-date as of april 6 with all the hardy heron beta updates installed. I can post any additional information needed.
The version of pulseaudio that is currently installed is:
pulseaudio:
Installed: 0.9.9-1ubuntu4
Candidate: 0.9.9-1ubuntu4
Version table:
*** 0.9.9-1ubuntu4 0
500 http://
100 /var/lib/
I can confirm this, however my stuttering seems to carry on after the event and can only be stopped by a reboot or suspend.
