Bug Description

The sound from the speakers and headphones is distorted when the system startup. Has some strange disturbance in sound. If I issue "pulseausio -k; pulseaudio --start" the sound is correct but when another startup problem is come back. Reinstalling pulseaudio and alsa does not help. Actually my pulseaudio version is 1:13.99.1-1ubuntu3.11. I try under ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS and 21.04 but it is the same bug. Installing another newer kernel doesn't help either. The card is HDA Intel PCH, Cirrus Logic CS8409 / CS42L42 chip (Dell Vostro 3500).

The error can be partially resolved by installing oem kernel versions. The error was not present on the newest one available from the repository. I tested several kernel versions after reporting this bug, but I don't remember which version it worked better, for sure since 5.14.0-1007-oem. The sound was good most of the time, but sometimes it faded out, then you had to connect the headphones to the jack socket for a while and disconnect it. However, there was no need to kill pulseaudio on 5.14.0-1007-oem (it was possible to use a laptop on a daily basis). However, I replaced the laptop with a different model so as not to degenerate because the problem was only 90% solved on the new kernel. This chipset 'Cirrus Logic' is probably to blame because I have a new dell vostro 5502 with the same intel i5 (11th gen) processor, but the chipset has 'Realtek ALC3204' and everything works on it.
