Bug Description

in gnome settings audio section does not see any sound card. if i run alsamixer it can detect the sound card and all works fine. in gnome sound settings everything seems to be disabled.

I have excatly same problem on PC where configuration is completely different than my laptops one.

All the problems started recently, after upgrading to 19.04 some time later one of the updates destroyed all sound

i only see chrome device as output device after manually running pulseaudio -D and pulseaudio --check

Ok I managed to fix it

rm -rf ~/.config/chrome-remote-desktop/pulse*

Looks like chrome remote desktop app (which i was using) took over my sound card in gnome settings, weird :/
