returning buzz on high quality resample

Bug Description
When I change to higher resampling it happens every few minutes repeating buzz
resample-method = src-sinc-
default-
default-sample-rate = 96000
$ pacmd list-sinks | grep sample
sample spec: s24le 2ch 96000Hz
sample spec: s32le 2ch 96000Hz
I have two sound cards, the symptom emerges on the external usb X-Fi soundcard.
