Bug Description

During logging in, there is the distinct ubuntu login sound. Loud and clear, from the laptop speakers.
After logging in, all sounds stop. But if i were to plugin a headset, it's working fine. A reboot sometimes fixes it.

Opening alsamixer in a terminal and disabling "Auto-Mute" seems to solve the problem.

I tried alsamixer and disabling auto-mute. That has not helped me.
