Bug Description

After the upgrade to 12.10 while trying to pair a bluetooth headset the following message appears on the syslog:

The bluetooth device pairs correctly but does not work and logs the following messages:\

Please let me know if you need any more info or testing. This works as expected on the same machine running 12.04.

same problem on my linux box. i get a similar msg when i try to pair my bt keyboard.

Thank you for reporting this bug to Ubuntu.
Ubuntu 12.10 (quantal) reached end-of-life on May 16, 2014.

See this document for currently supported Ubuntu releases:

We appreciate that this bug may be old and you might not be interested in discussing it any more. But if you are then please upgrade to the latest Ubuntu version and re-test.
