PSPP main window disappeared when minimizing or switching to other applications

This happens all the time.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Fresh install of PSPP via apt-get
2. open PSPP
3. leave the windo (minimize switch applications, etc.)

FYI: This behaviour can't be seen in Gnome-Shell

You say this doesn't happen with Gnome. What are you using instead?

this was affecting unity. But with upgrade to 14.04 this fine again.

Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

The problem could not be reproduced in current Ubuntu.
