Psi 0.13 in Karmic?

Hey,

is it possible to get the latest upstream version (0.13) of Psi ( http://www.psi-im.org/ ) into Karmic Koala?

I've already build a deb package with this source. Available from here: http://thilo.cestona.ro/public/psi/

There are packages for psi 0.13 and psimedia 1.0.3 for jaunty and karmic in the following ppa:

Hi,

As this version is not yet in Debian, you should find someone (Sascha?) willing to update the package and submit it for sponsoring.

Anyway, this version bring some new functionalities, and as we are now in Feature Freeze, you would need to follow th Feature Freeze exception process as described at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/FreezeExceptionProcess to have a chance to get this new version in Karmic.

Unsubscribing Ubuntu Universe sponsor, as there is nothing to sponsor ATM..

As the status is already on "Confirmed", do I need todo anything else?

From the Wiki Page:
"Once the Feature Freeze Exception has been ACK'd by at least 2 members of the MOTU Release Team, the status will be changed to 'Confirmed`. You can then either upload the package (in case you're in motu or ubuntu-core-dev), or follow the SponsorshipProcess. "
