Bug Description

Binary package hint: psi

When I'm lauching Psi (jabber client), I can't use it :
- the roaster (contact list) is unclicable : I can't select any contact
- when I'm double clic on on contact, a dialog window is appearing but I can't write anything

When I'm launching Psi from a console, I don't have any error message.
Before the migration from Intrepid to Jaunty, Psi worked very well !!

I try to compile it form the source, but the result was the same !

I delete my .psi directory to start with an empty profile, but same freezing !

Here it is working. Fresh install of Jaunty (32 bit), Psi from the ubuntu repository.
You migrated, did you already try to remove psi completely and install it after that again? be sure to remove your .psi folder in your home folder, but after that your history will be gone.

Good luck :)

I have the same problem, also after a migration. Double click on a contact and Psi hangs, consuming 100% cpu.

I have tried apt-get --purge remove psi and then apt-get install psi. I have removed .psi from my home directory and recreated account.
