Thanks for the patch. As previously noted, please provide some explanation as to why this fixes the bug. I have added the patch tag to attract the attention of packagers. I have unsubscribed ubuntu-universe-sponsors, as this patch does not represent a new candidate revision (patch is not a debdiff). If a debdiff is prepared to address this issue, please resubscribe ubuntu-universe-sponsors.

defining NO_NDNS make psi use the QDns code which support both A and AAAA record. I'm not sure if qdns breaks things or not

There are reasons upstream is using NDns instead of QDns (mainly bad
experience with QDns stability). Therefore, I won't change the debian
package to use QDns.

However, there are plans to replace NDns with XMPP::NameResolver, which
should support IPv6 as well.
