Bug Description
As summary says, kboot doesn't support Ext4 filesystem and installing Ubuntu for that will result in non-booting system.
Actually more of an request but bug report, but unfortunately I don't know how to make them?

true that this is not really a bug more of a limitation of the version of kboot used. but there must be some way to get this to work. i found this site wich seems to say that this ver of kboot supports ext4 but i don't know enough to try it. with the weekend i will have plenty of time to play around so anything that can be tried let me know
