Bug Description

Apparently this specific bug doesn't happen in Debian's packaging of proot: https://packages.debian.org/stretch/amd64/proot

proot has a problem with seccomp on 4.x kernels, and that needs to be patched out.

This was tested on this project: https://github.com/ClarityCafe/hyperwine/

Debian Stretch was able to execute the proot function of build.sh but not Ubuntu Xenial

Greetings,

This is a known issue, (See: https://github.com/proot-me/proot/issues/106).

Any help is appreciated in solving this problem.

Hey Lucas,

This seems to work on the Debian package, so I think we should look at their patches to see if we can upstream it to Ubuntu as well.
