Bug Description

pidwait doesn't work at all.

Seems like pidwait was renamed in an Ubuntu patch from upstream pwait - however the executable that is built acts as "pgrep" unless it's called as "pwait"; this check also needs to be updated with the executable name "pidwait".

This is the case for jammy - for numbat the pwait -> pidwait change has happened upstream.
