prelink corrupts /lib/ld-2.3.6.so on ubuntu dapper drake. if you start /lib/ld-2.3.6.so it gets killed immediately. you have to reinstall the libc6 package. this seems to be a critical bug. it affects update-initramfs so that you cant boot anymore.

prelink corrupts /lib/ld-2.3.6.so on ubuntu dapper drake (i386). If you run /lib/ld-2.3.6.so it gets killed immediately. You have to reinstall the libc6 package. This seems to be a CRITICAL bug! It affects update-initramfs so that the generated initrd is unusable! You can't boot anymore!
