Bug Description

Binary package hint: preferences

I'm currently using 2 separate Windows 7 machines to remote into my server. One is Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, and the other is the Home Starter build. Prior to upgrading to 11.04, I was able to remote into the Ubuntu server with no problems. Now, the remote desktop only shows the first screen, and nothing else. Even though the remote machine doesn't display anything other than the first screen shot, the mouse and programs are still operating on the server.

Same problem, I get either a single screen after logging into the target system with Remote Desktop in 11.04 or a garbled screen immediately after logging in. Either way, the screen/desktop becomes unresponsive or without a proper display.
I am going to assume it perhaps has something to do with Unity...

Tested with
Remote Desktop
VNC
UVNC
Windows and Ubuntu connections
with
Ubuntu Linux 11.04 as the server system (both systems are running 32bit versions)

I even tried logging in using the classic Ubuntu desktop, and still have the same problem. If this doesn't have a fix, I'll be down-grading pretty soon. My server box just sits in the basement and has no human interaction with it. If I can't remote in to it, then it's kind of useless.
