persistently drops mobile broadband modem connection

Binary package hint: gnome-nettool

The connection cannot be held for much more than a minute although the time period varies somewhat and also it occasionally holds for an hour.

I attach the log copy of recent event.
There can be a flash on the screen and the computer crashes. sometimes a restart does not cure the problem,

I don't understand what it is that you have said?

Is it that the bug should be posted in another area or are you saying that
this is a matter of Ubuntu? Nettool appeared automatically when posting..
