Bug Description
1. turn on your phone's screen (make sure your screen brightness is not at lowest)
2. leave it there till the screen light dims (not turns off)
3. now tap on the screen
What happens:
The screen takes 1sec to lighten up
What should happen:
as soon as the screen is tapped it should lighten up

This seems to be a result of autobrightness. If autobrightness is disabled then the brightness changes immediately, but with autobrightness enabled it's probably waiting until it gets some ambient light data to determine what brightness to use. I guess the best option might be to save off the brightness before dimming the screen and then restore it when undimming.
