Bug Description

postgresql-9.6 version 9.6.2-1 failed to build from source on all arches during a zesty test rebuild. The build log can be found here:

It appears to be a failure with a test, " timestamptz ... FAILED".

Changed in postgresql-9.6 (Ubuntu):
assignee: nobody → ChristianEhrhardt (paelzer)

I've seen that before and was confirmed by the Debian changelog:
  1 postgresql-9.6 (9.6.2-2) unstable; urgency=medium
3 * Update regression tests to avoid timezone abbreviations that were removed
  4 from tzdata 2017a. (Upstream d8ec6b9c8c265c2f29b1c0e0e4205895baaa326d.)

As I can't upload/sync postgres yet (scheduled for next DMB) I'm reassigning to Nish for now.

Changed in postgresql-9.6 (Ubuntu):
assignee: ChristianEhrhardt (paelzer) → Nish Aravamudan (nacc)
status: New → Triaged
importance: Undecided → High

Built on last MRE - so closing.

Changed in postgresql-9.6 (Ubuntu):
status: Triaged → Fix Released
