Thanks for reporting this bug, and helping to make Ubuntu better.
Based on the VarLogDistupgra deApttermlog. gz content, it looks like main.cf contains lines which belong in your master. cf. If you don't yet have any local customizations,,
your /etc/postfix/
/etc/postfix/
then the easiest fix might be to
apt-get purge postfix
apt-get install postfix
to clear out the erroneous configs and create new ones. Please let
us know if this is not an option, or if this doesn't work.
