After modifying main.cf, be sure to run '/etc/init. d/postfix reload'. main.cf: parameter mydomain: bad parameter value: 04
auto mode.
Running newaliases
newaliases: warning: valid_hostname: numeric hostname: 04
newaliases: fatal: file /etc/postfix/
Not a Postfix bug. "04" is not a valid hostname. Try sudo dpkg-reconfigure postfix and select a valid hostname (a fully qualified domain name like mail.example.com).
