I can open this file, but a blank page is displayed. If I select all, I can see the highlighting showing where the text should be, but there is still no reverse-video text.

Running evince from a command prompt produces the following errors in the terminal:

Error: Found a bad table definition on true type definition, trying to continue...
Error: Found a bad table definition on true type definition, trying to continue...
Error: Found a bad table definition on true type definition, trying to continue...
Error: Found a bad table definition on true type definition, trying to continue...
Error: Found a bad table definition on true type definition, trying to continue...
Error: Found a bad table definition on true type definition, trying to continue...
Error: failed to load truetype font

some font thing failed

This sequence is repeated many times.

Possibly a corrupt file? Can Adobe Reader display it, and does it show any errors?

I have attached the output of pdffonts.

seems to be a fonts issue

@Marinko: You should probably open new bugs for your other pdf's that wont read on linux, unless they show the same errors in the terminal. If they do, there is no need to attach them here, but it would be useful to know if they all have the same creator and producer info as the file you attached, namely:

Creator: Output Management System of ROHA Software Support GmbH
Producer: SpoolMaster V5.1

If all of your problem files have this, it would suggest that there is a bug in the ROHA software's embedding of fonts (or a least truetype fonts) into PDF files.

Now I work on Mandriva (gnome) and is the same problem !

But when I install adobe no problem, open all pdf files.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. A new version of Evince is available in both Lucid and Maverick and we are wondering if this is still reproducible in any of those versions, May you please test and give us of feedback about it? Thanks in advance.
