Bug Description
Symptoms
The monitor backlight cycles on and off as one holds a sustained pressing of either the darken or lighten buttons. Additionally, the keyboard light also cycles on and off.
Steps to reproduce
Press either the dim or brighten buttons.
Results
The monitor backlight cycles on and off.
The keyboard light also cycles on and off.
Expected results
The monitor backlight and keyboard one do NOT cycle on and off as one presses the corresponding buttons.

Since this didn't happen in the previous Natty release, presumably using pommed 1.36 (where it was reported have been fixed), but reportedly occurred with version pommed 1.35~dfsg-1ubuntu1 on Maverick Meerkat (as can be testified to from https:/

I've noticed that it seems to work now, as long as there are multiple pressings in a pulsating manner.
The keyboard still lights up unexpectedly towards the end, and shuts itself off again when bring it back up again. Pretty wacky.
