Reassigning, that's because policykit fails with this error:

Setting up policykit (0.7-2ubuntu4) ...
chown: cannot access `/var/run/PolicyKit': No such file or directory
dpkg: error processing policykit (--configure):
 subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1

Hi,

I thought this had been fixed, but I can't find the other bug, so it
may have been a different package.

I can't find anything wrong in the current Intrepid version.
