kpackagekit does not authenticate, fails

Bug Description

Binary package hint: kpackagekit

i can not use kpackagekit to install anything, neither single software nor upgrades. it never asks me for a password and instead just tells me i do not have neccessary priviliges, even if i log in as root.

Same issue on 32 bit desktop build. Even when started through sudo/kdesudo packagekit reports insufficient privileges.

o have repaired the problem on my install. system settings > advanced > policykit authorization > org.freedesktop > the packagekit project > install signed packages
then removed my existing user entry, add clicked grant to add it again, this time with no constraints. now i do not get prompted for authorization to install packages, they just install. :)
