This will help us to find and resolve the problem.

I did attempt to reproduce this issue in both Xubuntu 10.04 and Natty Narwhal, the current development version. I was not able to reproduce it.

Was MySql already installed and configured on your computer?

All i had to do was try to install from software center. once it said complete i tried to use it.. That is what showed up..

Resetting this bug report back to new. It is possible there is a serious issue which I am unable to confirm.
