In Ubuntu 8.1 (Intrepid Ibex), after installing Python-Poker-Network's latest version 1.6.0 and all dependancies as well as Poker-Web, I discovered that the Windows version of Poker3d/Pok3d v1.1.36 can't access any poker tables. After starting Poker3d on a remote computer over the internet, the Poker lobby will appear and prompt for sign-in. After sign-in a player should be able to select a table from the tables or tournaments list by double clicking on it with the mouse or by clicking the go to table button. After doing this the poker client will show a splash screen with statement "loading Table". It will then show a statement "loading players". From here the table should appear and allow the player to choose a seat and begin playing. However the Poker3d client freezes on the splash screen with the statement of "loading players". After this the Poker3d client's process must be force terminated with the windows task manager in order to stop the program. It can be duplicated every time. This problem does not exist with Python-Poker-Network 1.2.0 that is installed on Ubuntu 8.04.
Can you set verbosity == 6 on the server and sent us the output when the connection attempt happens? Have you tried a version of jpoker (the Javascript browser-only client) on the windows box to see if it gives the same troubles?
