2006-08-26 11:16:09 Pascal De Vuyst description Alot of people have been having trouble with the HP 7xx series lately because of the issue with /etc/pnm2ppa.conf (One needs to change something about the version line). However I have a HP 712c and have tried all of those changes yet my printer still does not work. The wierd thing is that my printer is recognized and it completes jobs it just won't print. So for instance, if I tell it to print a test page, it sits there processing the job and then it tells me it has completed the job, but nothing comes out of the printer. No errors of anything, I checked /var/log/cups/error_log and no errors (it is set on Debug mode). Any advice that would get my printer working (the only thing that did not work after the switch to Dapper) would be greatly appreciated. Reported by Joe Lynch (https://launchpad.net/people/joe-e-lynch) as a support question.
