Bug Description
pms is a ncurses based client for the music player demon mpd. mpd supports unicode as does pms. But as the pms package is linked against libncurses (and not libncursesw) unicode characters are not shown correctly. pms builds correctly against libncursesw if libncurses5 and libncurses5-dev are installed.
In addition, there is a slightly newer - but still 3 years old - version 0.42 with some fixes and new features.
