Bug Description

Binary package hint: pm-utils

i cannot suspend my acer aspire one in Lucid (did not work in karmic either). i install /root partition on the memort card and /boot on the internal ssd. If ubuntu is installed fully on the ssd then i can suspend only if memory card is not mounted. so i used the workaround mentioned here: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/AspireOne/Ubuntu9.10 but when /root is installed on the memory card then i cannot suspend although the system don't hang if i use the script mentioned in the workaround and simply go to "Lock Screen" mode.
#i install ubuntu on the memory card cuz ssd is so slow that system is almost dead.
