Bug Description
Binary package hint: pm-utils
Both suspend and hibernate fail. I see only the cursor blinking in the left corner and keyboard is unresponsive. REISUB works, though.

I also have the same problem.
my laptop fails to suspend and hibernate.
When in suspend mode, when i try to return, the cursor is blinking in the left corner and keyboard has no response, too.
I have a dell latitude d830, with nvidia nvs140m and my distro is ubuntu 8.10 architecture:64
My system also is fully updated 'till now (03/12/2009)
