I am having the same issue. I first tried with Ubuntu Gnome 16.04 and then with Ubuntu 16.04. Both have the same issue. Doing "sudo pm-hibernate" can duplicate the issue. I am attaching a report from lshw. My computer is a HP Pavilion dv7.

This just started happening on my Lenovo Yoga. All worked fine previously. Something is causing the computer to turn back on a few seconds after going into suspend

Suspend will not work on "Lid trigger" and "manual power option", however it will somehow worked on "Automatic suspend", I said "somehow" because even tho the light is off, the laptop still hot.
