Bug Description
Hi,
when trying to install from Lucid live cd, my whole computer freezed at the Ubuntu aubergine boot screen.it responded to no keyboard input and I couldn't access any console, so I had to reboot manually. After installing from the alternate cd, the installed system freezed in the same manner.
Following the instruction at https:/
Using the rescue mode and then starting X via startx also works.
Note than I'm using a nvidia card and than when the nvidia-recent packaged is installed it boot (and blank the whole screen later but that's for another bug report) so it may be related to nouveau
