Freeze during " Checking disk 1 of 2 (89% complete)" at boot

I had a freeze during boot, when displaying the Ubuntu logo and " Checking disk 1 of 2 (89% complete)": see screenshot.

I did Ctrl-Alt-Del to reboot. Next boot was ok.
