Bug Description
Binary package hint: kubuntu-
Currently the Kubuntu plymouth theme uses 4 dots that get filled as if it was indicating a left-to-right progress, indeed once all 4 dots are filled, they get "emptied" and filled all over again.
This is very bad behavior since it makes the user wonder why it is emptying again. Instead the circle indicator as seen in Plasma, when a widget is busy, should be used. To indicate that there is progress, but not exactly how far along through booting it is.

How about animating the icon on the far right.. have each of the 3 gear segments hightlight/pulse as it progresses?
