What do you mean when you say it "interrupts"? Are you referring to a switch back to text mode before X starts?

If so, this may be related to bug #540177.

Can you take a photo of the "fragments" problem on shutdown?

Well, things are changing daily. Now: It is not related to bug #540177 because kdm is not running here but gdm-2.20

Yes, with "it interupts" I mean switching back to text mode.

When shutting down the screen is now shown.

I will check again the next shutdown and let you know any news.

Your report shows that you originally installed using a Kubuntu CD. Do you still have the kdm package installed? Even if you are now using gdm, the fact that kdm is installed could still cause bug #540177.

According to the report, you're using the NVIDIA binary driver - so it's normal for a black screen to appear before X. This comes under the general banner of #551013
