Is what I install. If I remove it, it works just fine,

I'm using the nouveau driver for a 6200 nvidia card.

Do you have more than one display output connected?

I'm assuming this is bug #533135; marking as a duplicate.

I had this trying to move from the propietary nvidia to nouveau.

First, you need to remove or otherwise corrupt /etc/X11/xorg.conf (mv /etc/X11/xorg.conf /etc/X11/xorg.conf.backup)

When you boot, it'll go to the "X not working" screen instead of starting gdm. You can now switch to TTY1, log in, and install nvidia-current.

Your system should now boot, possibly using the nouveau driver.
