latest plymouth update causes system to boot into CLI

Bug Description
Binary package hint: plymouth
with the latest updates installed (after i got around the mountall issue) my system now boots into a CLI.
I did about 6 restarts, once fsck ran and that caused to to boot normaly, all others just booted to CLI.
