Bug Description
Binary package hint: plymouth
The new Ubuntu logo, with dots, appears to be "slipping" down the screen; the code in:
/lib/
places the main logo with the code:
logo.y = Window.GetHeight (0) / 2 - logo.height / 2;
however, three factors come into play:
1. /lib/plymouth/
2. aesthetics requires a slight upward shift to make centred objects appear centred
3. the addition of the dots further drags the apparent image placement downwards
Ideally all three of these should be fixed, or counteracted by a ~15 pixel upshift of the logo.
