Bug Description

When i was using eoan, i haven't noticed issues when inputting the correct password would not work during cryptsetup bootup. Since i upgraded i had entered the password multiple times, tried restarting and it didn't accept it. Only when i uset Alt + Shift to change the input language did it accept it. I don't remember any such problem in eoan.

... And it doesn't seem to matter that i changed the english language to be first in Settings -> Input sources, also English was the last selected input language before reboot.

Thank you for your bug report, can you take a screenshot you are entering your password on?
What keyboard layout do you use?

I use English (US) and Bulgarian (traditional phonetic) keyboards. I am 99% that i have created my LUKS password in English (US) when i installed Ubuntu 19.10 from the USB. It asked me if i wanted to encrypt the whole disk. I am 100% sure that i did not have this problem before upgrading from eoan to focal. Now in focal i don't know to which layout it is set, but it's definitely not English (US), because as i said i have to change the layout with Alt + Shift and only then the password is accepted.
