Thank you for your bug report. We need to improve the plymouth apport hook since it seems to no be including the journal log nor the video card informations by default.
From the report though the nvidia kernel driver is loaded, could you give details on your video configuration? As stated on the discourse topic the flickerfree boot only works on recent intel cards and nvidia isn't supported at the moment so it would be a known issue if you are using a nvidia card...
