Hallo
This issue is reproducible in VM or real hardware but only for i386 systems (amd64 works).
Booting a system with LVM ancrypted, at plymouth usually appear the written asking to insert the passphrase to unlock.
This doesn't happens in a 32 bit system.
See attached screenshot, showing plymouth and only the black box to insert the passphrase.
